Computer science engineering (CSE) is one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants which focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking.Students pursuing computer science courses will gain knowledge of design, implementation and management of information system of both hardware and software.CSE course deals primarily with the theory of computation and design of computational systems. The course is offered across the globe in technical institutions at undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels awarding B.Tech and M.tech degrees, respectively....As 'C' is the basic language among high level languages. Since it's an early language, most of the programming languages started originating from it. Learning to code in C will give you a basic idea how codes should be and develop a skill to code just by knowing a syntax of the programming language. In C++ you would learn about object oriented programming. It will be a lot similar to structure in C but you'll have a lot of advantages and you will be open to new concepts

Other careers:

A Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree can take you many places. As graduates work in education, the arts, law, and countless other areas. Whether you directly apply your technical skills in a position at a tech company, or contribute your knowledge of computing and creative problem-solving to a different industry. If you don’t have a favourite data-structure, and an algorithm that you find beautiful, then your computer science education is incomplete. If, after seeing an algorithm, your first thought is not about the complexity of the algorithm (O(n), O(log n), etc.), then you need to hit your books again. If you’ve only learned Java and C#, and you don’t really understand pointers, heaps, stacks, you will sooner or later be at a disadvantage. Understand the basics.

Overall objective of the CSE program is to improve:

1)Ability to function effectively in teams to accomplish a common goal.
2)Ability to self learn and engage in life-long learning too.
3)To Understand of ability to use advanced techniques and tools in different areas of computing.
4)To Understand the theoretical foundations and limits of computing.
5)To Understand the computing at different levels of abstraction including circuits and computer architecture,
operating systems, algorithms and applications.
6)Ability to design, implement, and evaluate computer based system or application to meet the desired needs using modern tools and methodologies.
7)Ability to undertake small research tasks and projects.
